There are many roads I could go down here on this topic. But today I am talking about the importance of moving your body (in anyway that you can) to improve metabolic health and support daily detoxification.

So if you are chronically ill or recovering right now from mold, and maybe you're not exercising a lot, maybe you've never really been into building muscle, where can you start?

First of all, you should not be just laying around. I know it's hard, but you can't do that because for a period of weeks, as soon as you decide to not move, like let's say there's an injury or you get really sick and you're laying in bed, muscle exponentially decreases. And the older you get, the more difficult it becomes to get it back. There is a direct correlation between skeletal muscle and health. Skeletal muscle key to longevity. If an individual has mold and is really, really, really tired, and you're telling yourself you're going to lay there and recover, you need to get up, and you have to move. When you think about detoxification, one of the ways in which you detoxify is sweat. You should be sweating. And one of the most efficient ways to sweat is to exercise and move lymph, which is really important too. Jumping on a mini trampoline can help move your lymph and help with the symptoms of low energy, heavy feeling, fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, edema. It will also help get your heart rate up and support detoxification.

Physical activity is not only good for your body, but it's also great for your mind. It’s even better if you’re able to get active outdoors. Research shows that being in nature can make us feel happier, feel our lives are more worthwhile, and reduce our levels of depression and anxiety. Nature doesn’t have to mean forests or national parks either: walking to a local common, visiting a friend’s garden or simply noticing trees and flowers planted by the roadside can boost your mental well-being. Let’s face it, when we’re dealing with fatigue and the worry of detoxing mold (or anything) from your body, we all could use the added benefits of movement.

Exercise obviously has many, many benefits for health and longevity. If it’s hard at the moment to get moving (believe me I understand!) anyway that you can move your body, going for a brisk walk, dancing to your favourite music whatever works up a sweat is going to improve so many things in your well being and help with detoxification.
